Me and my husband had the most magical 3 days of events at our wedding in Italy. The venue Svetlana proposed to us fit our requirements perfectly and our guests all loved it. Everything went smoothly without any hiccups, meaning that we could just completely relax and not worry about any organisation for the whole 3 days. Svetlana was particularly great for knowing vendors in Italy specific for an indian wedding (e.g caterers, dhol players, DJ, pandit etc.) - we didn’t have any idea where to start so this was really helpful for us. There's so much to factor in for an Indian wedding abroad and Svetlana and her team made our dream wedding come true all while we were in England! There were a lot of specific things we wanted over the course of the week and everything wad made possible. From the venue to accommodation, transport to entertainment everything was sorted and of the best quality. We’ve just had the most incredible three days of our wedding here in Sorrento, Italy. And it has just been a magical experience. Everyone said it was like a dream, and we have no one but Best Indian Weddings Italy to thank for that; because going from planning, to venue scouting during the pandemic over Zoom, to the final day, it’s been a journey and it couldn’t have gone better. Our first meeting was via Zoom with Svetlana, and then on the day before the event we met the full team who hands on know exactly what to do and just made the whole experience so relaxing for us and seamless. Svetlana and her team are so hard working, they were working in the morning prior to our event and later in the night after packing up... Having Svetlana and her team, not only are you getting a wedding planner but you’re getting a friend who really cares about your wedding and wants to make your dream come true… she’s there with you throughout the whole experience. So she’s made us feel that we weren’t just booking a wedding planner but we were booking a friend to plan our wedding for us.

We chose Italy because it’s Harman’s favorite destination, and we come all the way from California so we obviously needed someone to make this magic happen. And after hours of searching online for somebody that was well-versed in the Indian culture we came across Best Indian Weddings Italy on Instagram, and the pictures were mind-blowing. So we went on the website and we saw that Svetlana had everything listed on there, everything we wanted, from the Gurdwara Gianis to all the traditions, and we were like “that’s it”, we didn’t reach out to anybody else because as we saw that we automatically knew that she was gonna make this the easiest process for us. And it’s been perfect so far, it actually has exceeded our expectations. We’ve gotten a lot more than I’ve even imagined would be here. We are a couple from Colorado, located in the U.S. We have always dreamed about visiting Italy and we wanted to be able to enjoy the Italian culture, the food, the wine… so when Connor surprised me with tickets to Italy, we thought that having our wedding here would be just a fun dream idea but we ended up making it happen thanks to Svetlana. I’m Indian and Connor is not Indian, so we knew we wanted to have a lot of Indian fusion into our wedding. Especially with the ceremony and we thought it might be impossible to try to get an Indian wedding to happen in Italy, but after doing some research we found the Best Indian Weddings Italy team, and so we were able to really make our dreams come true with this wedding. Svetlana has been so attentive and able to bring everything together, better than we could have ever hoped, and it was just like a dream the past couple of days and we will remember it for the rest of our lives. Best Weddings Italy were excellent! Offering a friendly face in Svetlana and methodical approach to planning was well received and executed to great expectations. Planning seemed a breeze in the early stages and we looked to be progressing steadily leading up to our initial date in May 2020. Enter COVID-19. After much uncertainly from the new year in 2020, we kept hopes alive and continued as best as we could but unfortunately we were faced with guests deciding against travel from the UK and ultimately the restrictions forced us to postpone until September. Throughout this, a lot of effort on our part and Svetlana’s eventually paid off as we managed to proceed with the wedding in Sorrento. Seeing the end result was fantastic and we both thoroughly enjoys our special days with close family and friends. From the early stages of planning to finally getting married took almost 18 months. We just had our wedding, and it’s all thanks to Svetlana and her organizing skills, planning the whole lot, and these are just a few words to kinda talk about what we’ve gone through. Svetlana has had a lot experience in planning Indian weddings and she made our dream come true. We gave Svetlana a vision in terms of what we wanted and she sent us through lots of proposals, understood what we wanted and made our dream come true. In terms of the suppliers, Svetlana saw us the photographer, the videographer, she had her own Indian chef. The food was amazing, we didn’t do even any food tasting. The fears that we had were very quickly ironed out through Svetlana’s speedy responses. The biggest thing for us was to make sure that our guests were stress-free and completely enjoyed themselves, and Svetlana did a great job of ensuring that everyone was looked after really well. And Svetlana has loads of experience with Indian weddings, and without her none of this would have been possible. We had a dream at the beginning, we had a vision at the beginning of this journey, and she made it a reality, and we can’t thank her enough for that.

Planning a destination wedding from abroad was no easy task. I had interviewed several planners whom I had found online and easily made my choice after 3 interviews. I chose Svetlana because she was professional, very knowledgeable about everything and anything; patient; flexible and most importantly, she was well apt; knowledgeable and had a lot of respect for the Hindu Wedding Ceremony we were hosting in Florence. I found Svetlana through an Internet search. Me and my husband had enquired with several wedding planners however none of them were as responsive and efficient as Svetlana and Charis. From the outset they were honest and upfront about everything and never gave us any false impressions – something which we had experienced with other planners. We decided to get married about two years ago when he proposed to me and we wanted to have an Italian wedding, a wedding in Italy since I am Italian.
