A Dreamy Indian Wedding in Tuscany: A Rain-Kissed Celebration
Amanda and Ronak, a sweet couple from Canada, dreamed of celebrating their wedding surrounded by the postcard-perfect landscapes of Tuscany. It’s easy to see why—this iconic Italian region is world-famous for its rolling hills lined with cypress trees, historic towns, charming villages, and romantic castles.
During the venue search, several beautiful properties matched their vision, but one stood out so strongly that the couple chose to postpone their wedding just to secure it. This stunning villa, located just outside Siena, offers breathtaking views of the city directly from its gardens. With accommodations for up to one hundred guests, it was the perfect setting for a full wedding weekend where everyone could stay together and share the experience. The villa itself is elegant and refined, with manicured gardens and multiple event spaces—ideal for hosting a multi-day celebration while using a different setting for each moment.
Amanda and Ronak planned three unforgettable days of festivities. The celebration began with a classic Italian-style welcome party featuring pizza, bruschetta, spritz, and gelato—a perfect introduction to Italy for their
international guests. To enhance the atmosphere, we suggested themed décor such as checkered tablecloths, cherry tomatoes, and aromatic herbs, bringing a true Italian touch. The couple embraced this idea beautifully.
The second day was dedicated to pre-wedding rituals. Haldi ceremony took place by the pool, styled entirely in yellow and decorated with traditional marigold garlands sourced in Italy. Later that evening, unexpected rain forced us to move the Sangeet indoors. This is why, when scouting venues, we always ensure a solid Plan B is available. Weather can be unpredictable, and having a reliable indoor option is essential.
Fortunately, the villa offered two spacious indoor halls capable of hosting all guests comfortably. We recreated the setup inside, including the bridal mehndi gazebo and traditional décor. Our talented henna artist created intricate designs for the bride and guests, who were all delighted with the experience. Being specialized in Indian weddings, we work with a curated network of suppliers, allowing each couple to choose vendors that perfectly match their style and vision.
A Charming Wedding Day: Celebrating Amidst Tuscany’s Gentle Rainfall
The following day was the wedding day. A stunning all-white mandap was set up in the villa’s panoramic garden. The bride envisioned a pure white design—no greenery, just soft white drapery and elegant white flowers. Even the couple chose to wear white, an unusual but deeply meaningful choice for an Indian wedding.
Once again, the weather was unpredictable. However, the couple was determined to keep the ceremony outdoors. We adapted by covering the mandap to protect the sacred fire and the couple, while providing umbrellas for all guests. Chairs were carefully dried as guests were seated, ensuring comfort throughout the ceremony.
Despite the light rain, the groom didn’t give up on his Baraat. He arrived in style on an Italian Vespa, surrounded by colorful smoke effects—an unforgettable moment that perfectly blended Indian tradition with Italian flair. The bride made her entrance escorted by her brother, radiant in white. The rain did nothing to diminish the magic—if anything, it made the atmosphere even more emotional and intimate.
For the reception, we opted for an indoor setup due to the complexity of the design. The original plan featured a U-shaped table under a canopy of lights, and we recreated
this vision perfectly indoors. The theme was black and white, with black table linens and white floral arrangements, creating a sophisticated and chic ambiance. With additional lighting available, we also enhanced the after-party space, complete with a dance floor and an incredible DJ from the UK. The evening was vibrant, joyful, and full of love.
The bride worked with a talented Italian makeup artist for all her looks, achieving stunning results throughout the celebrations. As always, we carefully curated a team of suppliers tailored to the couple’s style and expectations.
The catering was managed by an Italian team with Indian chefs, offering a perfect fusion menu across all three days. And of course, no celebration would be complete without an open bar—Amanda and Ronak chose espresso martinis as their signature cocktail.
Despite the challenging weather, this wedding was truly magical: intimate, romantic, and deeply heartfelt. The breathtaking Tuscan hills and views of Siena created the perfect backdrop for Amanda and Ronak to celebrate their love with family and friends. A true fairytale in Tuscany.
